The Bridge, a half-way house for Atlanta teens, provides education and shelter for physically and emotionally abused children. Located in Northwest Atlanta, The Bridge often faces challenges on providing the materials to help their students grow as young adults.
On September 25, 2007, White Oak Landscape was joined by Home Depot, UPS, and Payless Tree Services to improve the outdoor living conditons of the children at The Bridge. Coordinated by White Oak employees, these groups combined in one day to remove dead trees, replant shrubs and flowers, deep prune and overall increase the usability of their outdoor area.
White Oak Landscape understands the importance of giving back to their community. The employees involved in this project enjoyed seeing the transformation and the effect these changes had on the staff and, most importantly, the students at The Bridge.
